We keep this list general on purpose. The specific tools change as the business grows, and a policy that names every one of them is out of date the week after you switch a tool. The named companies we currently use are listed at HappyChildNow.com/subprocessors, and that page is kept current.

What an advertising pixel actually does, in plain terms

Most people have never been told, so here it is. The two you are most likely to meet on our site are the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag.

If you agree to advertising cookies, a small piece of that platform's code runs on the page and sends the platform: an advertising ID it already holds for you, usually a scrambled and irreversible version of your email address if you have just given us one, your IP address and the approximate city it points to, and which of our pages you looked at and what you did there — for example that you opened the registration page, or reached the thank-you page after buying.

What it is used for: showing you the masterclass again if you did not sign up, not showing you an ad for something you have already bought, and counting how many people who saw an ad went on to register.

What is never sent: anything you have written to us about your child, anything from a live session, and nothing from the Success Tracker if we launch one. Advertising platforms do not receive that, in any form, ever.

2. Your choice

When you first visit, you can accept all, reject all, or choose. You can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

No analytics or advertising cookie is set until you have agreed to it. Rejecting them does not stop you using the site.

3. Third parties

Some cookies are set by our providers, including our analytics provider, our advertising platforms, our video and webinar platform and our payment processor. They are governed by those companies' own policies.

4. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
